Alumni

Huntsman alumni go on to work and study in a variety of fields in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Huntsman graduates disperse across different industries and across the world, but continue to think of themselves as "Huntsmanites," maintaining the close bonds that they developed as freshmen.

Recent graduates have gone on to pursue everything from investment banking on Wall Street to non-profit management in Rwanda. Currently, there are Huntsman alumni studying Development Economics at Oxford University, consulting multi-national corporations in Beijing and working on community development issues in Philadelphia.

Wharton's name recognition ensures success finding jobs in investment banking, consulting, management and marketing. Typically, firms such as Bain & Co., Deutsche Bank, McKinsey, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan Chase, Oliver Wyman and Goldman Sachs recruit our students annually. However, Huntsman alumni have the added benefit of their international studies degree and have worked for a variety of organizations, such as Google, Louis Vuitton, Teach for America, the Peace Corps, the U.S. State Department, the United Nations and the World Bank. Several have even started their own businesses, social enterprises and non-profit organizations.

Many Huntsman alumni also go on to earn graduate degrees, often after first working for a few years. Some examples of graduate programs that Huntsman students have gone on to pursue are: the School of International Public Affairs at Columbia University, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School, Cambridge University, Harvard Kennedy School, London Business School, London School of Economics, Oxford University, Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School, Penn/Wharton's JD/MBA program and the Lauder Institute.

Though the Program is relatively young, having graduated its first class in 1998, Huntsman alumni are already quite accomplished and they count among them Rhodes, Fulbright, Gates and Marshall Scholars.

Best of all, I know that wherever I go, I will have access to a network of wonderfully talented fellow Huntsmanites. As a student, I benefited from the advice and friendship of alumni, and I in turn enjoy speaking with and creating opportunities for younger Huntsman students.
